Why do people place any stock in the political leanings of celebrities. I left play acting long behind me as a child and embraced the real world with open eyes. Some actors, perhaps most, still live in their make believe world.
I say grow up... look around, the real world is not that of the idealist. Their greatest asset is imagination and an ability to pretend. This colors their view along with the bubble they live in surrounded by sycophants too afraid to tell them the emperor has no clothes.
I hesitate to quote the bible, but there are among the pages some wisdom ... "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things." 1 Corinthians 13:11
Respectfully,
O.A.
Put you money where you mouth is Hollywood. I might just listen.. No I wouldn't but it would be refreshing to see you pay to lak rather than jet paid to talk.
It's a pity. She is the greatest living film actress, however.
Those who win Oscars and stuff like the Cecil B. DeMille lifetime achievement award somehow hold intellectual doctorates for expert Jackass Party braying.
I think Meryl is about to learn the economic lesson that Susan Sarandon & Timothy Robbins learned some years back.
Streep arguably has plausible deniability (aka an irrational excuse to lie shamelessly) and since Trump wasn't mentioned by name he likely has no legal recourse for the slander, as her lawyers probably informed her if they reviewed her prepared comments.
The statist left is desperate to destroy the public's opinion of Trump before he starts to reverse the meddling they have forced on a majority of states against their will. Statists in con-gress are guaranteed to claim that the people do not approve of Trump's programs if this disgusting propaganda program succeeds.
