and it's been an interesting year for me. While my first introduction to the book was on one of those endless summer nights back in 1992. I didn't pick up the volume until after I watched the first part of the movie on Netflix. I found the movie to be intriguing, but I needed to know more. I balked at the cost for the volume on the iBookstore. I have the opinion that e-books should be priced at $0.99 per 100 pages. But after being informed of the length of the book, I found in reality, the volume fit perfectly within my own cost ratio of e-information.

I essentially disappeared from the world for a week as page after glowing page kept me enthralled. Maslow's hierarchy of needs faded into irrelevance.

It was not lost on me that all the main characters seemed naturally able to fly an airplane. Nor the fact that in Today's ADHD world, no one would sit long enough to listen to the bulk of Francisco's monologue on money. Nor would they be able to comprehend the bulk of Galt's own monologue.

I was enthralled. For so long had I been looking for like minds that understood the value of exchange, that those who create should be celebrated.
