That Day In Dallas

Certainly an honest investigator looking at that list of enemies would be hesitant to jump to the conclusion that was jumped to: that Kennedy was assassinated by a lone gunmen. The investigator would regard Johnson as at least a person of interest, if not a potential suspect. Not only were the Kennedys setting him up for a fall, but the assassination occurred on his home turf, he became president, and diverted the Estes and Baker investigations. That this potential suspect controlled the terms of the investigation of his own possible crime, as Johnson did with the Warren Commission, fuels suspicion of a cover up.

The purpose here is not to conclusively state that Lyndon Johnson or anyone else was part of a conspiracy to murder Kennedy. Rather it is to ask why so many people refuse to consider the possibility, despite the warranted skepticism about the Warren Commission’s establishment, composition and investigation, and manifest inconsistencies and implausibilities in the official story line.

Great article Straight. I have often wondered what Jack Ruby wanted to say. Could have been nothing but he said he would talk if moved to a different facility. A reporter (Dorothy Kilgallen) that interviewed him said that she would blow the lid off the Kennedy assassination. She was killed and all her notes disappeared. So many questions???
