The CIA's Absence of Conviction

This following quote is from a Guardian article which ran for three hours before it was removed from the site: "The Kremlin has rejected the hacking accusations, while the WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has previously said the DNC leaks were not linked to Russia. A second senior official cited by the Washington Post conceded that intelligence agencies did not have specific proof that the Kremlin was “directing” the hackers, who were said to be one step removed from the Russian government.
Craig Murray, the former UK ambassador to Uzbekistan, who is a close associate of Assange, called the CIA claims “bullshit”, adding: “They are absolutely making it up.”
“I know who leaked them,” Murray said. “I’ve met the person who leaked them, and they are certainly not Russian and it’s an insider. It’s a leak, not a hack; the two are different things.
“If what the CIA are saying is true, and the CIA’s statement refers to people who are known to be linked to the Russian state, they would have arrested someone if it was someone inside the United States.
“America has not been shy about arresting whistleblowers and it’s not been shy about extraditing hackers. They plainly have no knowledge whatsoever.”

I have always been suspous of Mr. Riches death. No reason for someone killing him ever surfaced. The possible link to wikkiLeaks is there and certain members of the Dem party have a history of having people who interfere with them disappear.

And if they find out that the source was Seth Rich and that his death was a hit, people need to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, too coincidental for me.

The US, Russia and China have their own self interests but just because they are armed it is not necessary for them to go to war. The media is screeching that Tillerson is unfit because he reached mutually beneficial agreements with Russia. What do these people want? Every accomplishment that has advanced the condition of the human race is under attack. Theocracies that threaten the world are being defended. Institutions that produce wealth are damned. Our economy plods on, Rearden-like under enormous burden and anyone that wants to unleash its power is crucified as a one percenter.

    Hello khalling,
The story defies logic. The author is right. If they have the evidence arrest someone, name the sources. show the evidence. Otherwise, they should keep their mouths shut. Accusations without evidence that can stand the light of day are only going to further damage relations with our old cold war adversary. It is almost as if they are purposely trying to destabilize relations publicly. Who would benefit?
I expect the proper agencies to investigate these things, but the way this is playing out it smells like a smokescreen.
    Regards,
    O.A.
