    I couldn't help but notice the "Amazing Spider Man" stamp blurb.

    I wonder how much cheaper postage would be if they didn't spend so much money producing a gazillion different stamps

      My take on stamp designs is that the idea was to target stamp collectors - to make money from the sale of a stamp, but not have to provide the delivery. I think they overestimated how many collectors there are.

      I'm sure the USPS made a decent amount of money advertising the movie. As an aside, it makes me wonder how bad the movie is. In general, there seems to be an inverse relationship between the amount spent on hype and movie quality.

      Yes, do it! I can't speak for the Postal Service as a whole, but my local PO is one of the worst. Everyone there seems to just be marking time until the pension kicks in. Slow as molasses in January (hence my preference for the kiosk).

        It's the same all over. And DMV' s too. They're rude and slow and act like you're a stupid peon. Gov employees. My delivery people are nicer though. Maybe being out alone changes their attitudes.
