    Ammo, ammo, ammo.

I'm not going to add as much more ammo to my stash as planned if the evil hag had won, though I am planning to add a box to this and that before this month is out.
May even do it today now that I'm thinking about it.
I've decided to change the name of my new 9mm carbine from Hillary to Evil Hag.
It strikes me as less repulsive.
Never would have got that weapon if I was sure another Clinton would not be elected.

I am set for the moment. Even have a bit for things I sold several years ago. Might be good for barter in an emergency though. If Trump turns out to be a statist or monarchist, I will reassess.

Me dino is in a wait and see mode about Trump also.
Voted for him only because I thought I had to.
Hope he brings unto me ample bluebirds of happiness.
Me knows some buzzards may come mixed with that flock.

In my case, since I am waaay over the hill, the only thing I'd probably do is cash out most of my funds and turn most of them into gold, silver or platinum to a greater degree than I would have otherwise. Perhaps put them in a pile and sit on the pile with a 12 gage.

Yes, I would have increased my cash on hand so it would have put off business expansion. Basically batton down the hatches. Now there is a glimmer of optimism but it is a glimmer until I see what path Trump takes.

Now that Trump has won, I will proceed with plans to develop some of my property in terms of growing agricultural crops. Long term investment is looking more promising. If HRC had won, I would keep my assets much more liquid.

Suggestions such as, more gold, food, ammunition don't amount to much when you have a government that is willing to use the color of law to remove all those things from your possession as it did during First Great Depression (we are the second one now). If any substance might make you free any tyranny will remove your right to have that substance just prior to removing you.

I would never have considered another Chevy, since they endorsed Hillary. I love Camaros and Corvettes, but she would have gone full stream ahead with Agenda 21, so cars would have been a luxury that could disappear at any time. We were trying to figure out what to do with our retirement, as she was coming for our IRAs. It would have been a hold fast and expect bad things, don't spend money type of situation. What we get may not be perfect, but the UN march has at least slowed.

I'd like to see the replies to this same question from the other side. I doubt they would be anywhere near similar.

It is so pathetic, their behavior, just like their leader. And now to show that behavior to the rest of the world is even more pathetic. I am frankly embarrassed that this country has reached this new low.

Yes I will reduce the amount of silver and gold I buy next year I would have sailed for the Caribbean by January, now I will wait and see.

Not really. I am still working and still planning on moving, not because of any candidate but because I am moving closer to my mom and stepdad. It does not matter who won, we are all in it deep, it is just a matter of how deep and are we going to be able to get out of it.

Yes. I was preparing to set up an outpost to protect my family. I still am, but this gives me a little more breathing room and time to set aside more funding. Hillary made it clear that she was going to cross my one line in the sand. I mailed a letter to Donald Trump yesterday regarding that, offering information with hopes that the line doesn't get crossed for a long time.

We narrowly dodged a bullet on election night, my friends.

The ballot is still out... it's neither she who shall not be named nor blondie that worry me - it's Trump's VP pick that scares the hell out of me.

Unless you forgot what living under a theocratic "born again" leader was like... I only have one word, hopefully as a memory jog to that era...

    "Carter"

Carter?? Theocratic? No way! He would mouth the occasional pious platitude, but that was it.

As for Pence, better he should be Vice President (where he figures to have as much influence as the White House janitor) than continue as a state Governor.

Oooh, I got negative points for that - was it the word "theocratic"?? Hmmm...

I was there during his reign... Stationed at Andrews. Fun times. I remember anyone in office, or for that matter in any position of authority in the military, if you didn't have your annotated worn dogeared KJV in its leather cover, your days were numbered. Serious beans - I found one at a thrift store, had it on my desk, and all of the sudden I could do no wrong (tho I kept claiming the various prayer meetings I was invited to by brass conflicted, sorry, Colonel/Major/etc...) You could be of a different faith, as long as you had one, and were practicing (tho BAC's had preference). If you didn't... you might have been a spy.

Serious beans, comrade - we were showing the Soviets we were NOT the GSU (Godless Soviet Union).

Let's see if I get Zero Pointed for this one as well... for if you don't remember history, you better erase those who do.

I added an upvote ;-) I also was on in the service (USAF) while Jimmy was Pres and do have a vague recollection of some of his biblical leanings but I mostly ignored it.

I was there too, but not in the military. I didn't like Carter (only good thing he did was airline deregulation), but as an atheist I didn't notice anything theocratic. My brother, who was and is a born-again Christian, didn't like Carter any better than I did.

Perhaps the attitude you cite came from someone high in the chain of command rather than from Carter himself. He's best remembered for being ineffectual, so he probably turned a blind eye to it if he knew about it at all.

BTW, it wasn't me who downvoted you.

Yes. I'd want the World Series Championship reversed. A determination of who is going to be president for the next 10 elections in advance, with alternating genders"male, female, trans, other", ethnic background rotating alphabetically.

Just kidding. After listening to millennials, with 10yrs of indoctrination, it will be refreshing to see what a new generation of Trumpennials will have to say.

I had been putting off starting another business. The risk/return with HRC as president would not have made sense. Lots of people were in the same boat.

I was getting ready to close a business. Now, it is possible that Pres Trump may back out the regulations that were causing me to possibly do that. Was discussing with my CFO late last night, actually.

Interesting. The stock market, which reflects the sum of investor opinions about the economy, seems to think Trump represents the greater risk, based on its performance Nov. 9.
