Trump: Dictionary Definition of "Demagogue"

Trump is literally the dictionary definition of a Demagogue. See this link, or research the history of Demagoguery yourself. Objectivists, who are ruled by reason, should be its chief critics. Wikipedia states: "The central feature of the practice of demagoguery is persuasion by means of passion, shutting down reasonable deliberation and consideration of alternatives. Demagogues "pander to passion, prejudice, bigotry, and ignorance rather than reason." Wiki's history, which includes specific "methods of demagogues" describe Trump's campaign to a "T". It's long, but read the entire text, you'll be astonished.

I agree. His demagoguery and low character were disqualifying authoritarian characteristics that worried me, and still do. Of course, Hillary was also terrible, especially her policies. I voted my conscience by voting 3rd party. So, nobody can blame me for whatever fresh hell awaits us.

Best case scenario: Trump's "dumpster fire campaign" of demagoguery was all an act designed to manipulate irrational people's emotions into voting for him, prior to moderating his behavior, rhetoric, and certain policies. I seriously doubt this will happen, however...

Ah, but much of his "demagoguery" made rational sense and his view of the establishment was spot on; perhaps it was the only way to awaken the masses; although, I don't think he is really that smart.

Note: I did not vote for either and I did catch the "I" alone can do this rhetoric that drove his campaign early on, and I did catch the remnants of his "Liberal Progressive" views that were so much a part of his past.

I'll give him some leach to see, if by some miracle, he has awakened to smell the kakistocracy.

Sounds more like a description of Hillary and her most "passionate" supporters, especially during the last several days. Trump has actually been appearing more reasonable since he won.
