Alaska isn't listed (I'm not sure why), but our governor would be farther down the chart than A, that's for sure.

I strongly resent Oregon being rated as only an "F", when all of us on the east side of the Cascades know it should be a "Z".

The RINO jerk I made the mistake of voting for (crappy were the choices anyway) in Alabama get his well-deserved F.
Turned out there is not a single cut he'd make when shown a list of needless pork.
Next his wife divorces him for cheating on her with a government employee.
He is also as disdainful of impeachment as Bill Clinton. Bentley is truly bent.
It's good tah be da gubernor, y'all.

Our Republican governor in Nevada received an "F". No surprise, since he is a poster boy for what the term "RINO" really means. With the help of a few Republican legislators and lots of Democrat ones, he was able to raise taxes far higher than any Democrat governor would have been able to achieve.

I'm a resident of NC, and I'm extremely happy to see that my governor ranks second from the top. Now the next question is will the stupid voters replace him with a Democrat in November.

Wasn't surprised to see my governor with a "D". He's RINO through and through. I've never voted for the guy - always voted third-party. He's the one responsible for getting Obamacare exchanges in our very red state aside from pushing through more gas taxes and relying for almost 2/3 of our education budget from the Feds.

Even with the nosedive in oil & gas prices, Mary Fallin (Oklahoma) still has a pretty good rating (top of the B list). She learned well as Lt Governor under Keating (I had dealings with her then, as Oklahoma puts business development in the Lt Governor's hands). It's good to see Trump has asked her to help him develop agricultural policy, and I hope he listens to her about energy as well.

Whereas in Alaska, the reckless spending continued as oil prices dropped, and now we're in a situation that no one claims to have seen coming. The blind can't see, and that's not their fault, but when someone willfully closes their eyes, they deserve the blame. The legislature is paralyzed because whoever moves will get blamed and since they are up for reelection and the governor is not, he (Gov Bill Walker) is doing what he pleases to "fix" the situation.

I do appreciate Arizona, most times. Things are changing here though, too many Californians are moving here, forgetting what they left CA for and trying to install their liberalism here.

Old Arizona disappeared in the 90s (perhaps earlier.) They keep electing that worthless POS senator McCain, too. Flake was good as a congressman, but has become a "moderate" senator. Power corrupts.

I live here, its not entirely gone. No doubt there's a soul struggle going on here. McCain and Flake are too entrenched with special interests and easily overwhelm their opponents. The Ds trot out sh*tbags like open communists Sinema and anti-American haters like Grijalva and keep getting them elected.

Even so, we managed to get Ducey elected, Franks and Schweikert remain in office and Sheriff Joe continues forward despite their repeated attempts to lynch him.

It take time to water down what we have and there is every indication that Arizona will stay Conservative....who ever heard of a pansy-ass liberal cowboy anyway?

          The Arizona Republic

I lived there in 90-91 but had to leave for a consulting job. When I was able to return in 99, it was like darkness had fallen. The joyous "very large small town" had been buried in liberal bullshit. After a few years I left in disgust (not that there was somewhere much better to go in the United Socialist States, comrade.)
