Setback; I Blame Myself
Okay, the weasel Lankford got the Senate seat over T.W. Shannon.
Lankford got his Congressional seat only in 2012, and now he's running for Senate. I never supported him in that election, because he kept talking about being able to work with the other side.
While Shannon had the support of Palin and Cruz and such, Lankford had the support of the establishment Republican machine. Which means if the Republicans take control of the Senate, we've lost a voice for smaller government, fiscal responsibility and adherence to the Constitution. if the Republicans fail to take the Senate, you can count on Lankford "working with" the Democrat majority.
I blame myself because I fell asleep and didn't wake up until about 20 minutes ago... a half hour after the polls closed. I should have stopped by on my way home from work, but I was tired and didn't even think about today being election day until after I got home. So, because I was tired, I let the republic down :(
