Something about rats smelling a rat - hard to do when they are so used to the smell of all manner of rats - so this rat must have some really bad smell to it. We'll know they know the jig's really up as they start jumping overboard (as the old saying goes). Many, many years ago in lands far away the surest way to get rid of rats was to burn the building down and shoot the survivors as they ran out and tried to get away. I consider that entirely operative and instructive ancient wisdom (perhaps once and future). Just thinkin' and sayin' ...

Time will tell. Al Hunt tried to sweep it aside. They are being dragged to this story. It is slightly encouraging though.

They only fear that the tables may turn and the precedent set, they will be the ones targeted with hypocrisy on their faces.

We can only hope. Personally, I think the stonewalling will continue and only a regime change (and not to an old-Guard Republican) is going to even START to right the ship.

the IRS and VA situations are the biggies, I bet, and
since many millions have been squished by the IRS,
it will probably make the most difference.
