Just how big a moron is Jerry Brown?

He wants to put money aside for a "rainy day fund." Last I looked, fiscally it's been raining and flooding in CA for quite a while. Meanwhile he's trying to "rein in" the other D's who just see green coming in and just have to turn it red.

What? Has he had an epiphany? Governor Moonbeam wants to be fiscally responsible?!?!
This must be some kind of re-election ploy, although considering the voting record of the major cities of California it doesn't make sense. This seems contrary to so many of his prior fiscally irresponsible plans. Are people waking up?

Don't get too giddy. He still wants to tax the hell out of the people and businesses in the state. He also wants to stupidly put money "aside" for a "rainy day" when it's pouring on him now. He merely doesn't want to spend the money as quickly as do the rest of the D's. So, not exactly what I'd call "fiscally responsible." Just not as irresponsible as his cohorts.

I used to trade California municipal bonds. It was fun when the state was even more of a fiscal wreck. Judging by the spreads quoted in the article, it has become very boring. I'm glad I got out.
