    he's always picking women who don't play instruments and teaching them into a new band! that is his wife on keyboards. I don't know the non-violin playing lady. But he is homegrown garage music maker. and is admired by the likes of these guys:

  I'm not always appreciative of the music he makes, some of it simply doesn't appeal to my ear. But overall I think he's among the more creative artists (I don't use that word lightly) today. The relatively new band Rival Sons is another.

IMO, lack of music is one more reason why the networks continue to lose audience.
For example, Tonight once offered music
