Our government is supposed to serve us, not confine our activities and choices. This team is a supposed free enterprise, making its own choices and living with the consequences of them, but our Dear Leader, The One, Barack Hussein Obama (mmm, mmm, mmm) must inflict his will upon said team because HE doesn't agree with their choice of the team's name.

After all, doesn't HE know best?

This isn't quite the thrust of Point Three of Directive 10-289. But it clearly sets the precedent.

It is not the Senate's job, nor the President's, either.

At least one commentator recently said, "I love Harry Reid dearly, but he is losing his marbles and needs to leave the Senate and go to the home for the aged." Or words to that effect.

maybe the league will force him to sell the team. I don't know what it is worth but that guy in Washington who bought the clippers may pay more than 2 billion. so far Snyder hasn't been banned from all the stadiums in the country or has he? as for reid he is the best example we have of an unemployed government employee. he collects a government check just like those in the ghetto who also do nothing.

    I have it...

Oklahoma was formerly the "Indian Nations".
We have all kinds of tribes here.

We recently got the Thunder basketball franchise (formerly Seattle Supersonics). We are due for our own football franchise. People whine that Dallas (200 miles) is too close, and there are too many OU fans (seems to me a weekend of highschool football on friday night, college on saturday, and pro on sunday would be darned popular....)

    But I think we're due.

They should move the Washington Redskins to Oklahoma City. No name change would be necessary, I'm sure.

Without following the link, can anyone tell me what "Oklahoma" means? :)
