Decision could mean less product choices and higher prices.
"I'm going to destroy Android, because it's a stolen product," Apple co-founder Jobs told biographer Walter Isaacson in the book Steve Jobs. "I'm willing to go thermonuclear war on this."

    I wonder why this is paraded as a bad news. Of course, when you can simply stole the design and the style of a product and make a cheaper knock-off, you will be able to sell it at a lower price. I even see it as a good thing; it means that the big tech firms will need to pump some funds in their R&D departments to do something else than reverse engineering Apple's phones and tablets.

    I'm currently reading "Inside Apple." If you really want the inside scoop to how Apple did/does business. This is the book. Hard to put down.
