If you pay attention, early in the video there is a small-caliber gunshot; the fatal gunshots were from a much higher caliber and clearly from the police.
Also early in the video you can see the man's arm extended toward the police officers.
I'm not saying they handled it the best (did they even *have* tasers on them, and I don't expect police to return gun fire with taser shots).
The question on my mind is, based upon the accent of the gal carrying her child into the area of a firefight... was the deceased in the country legally? If not... the police acted appropriately.
If so, they probably acted appropriately.
