Wesley Pruden is editor emeritus of The Washington Times, and one of my favorite columnists. To those of you who wish we'd all put this issue behind us, I apologize.

If the roles were reversed I would have been happy to see Trayvon free to walk the streets.
The twist is that if it were so, Trayvon would probably be able to do so without the plethora of threats against him and his family that now leave Zimmerman less than free.

Jury nullification was what got O.J. off...they simply liked his celebrity more than they liked the victims.

Zimmerman's jury was different...they actually weighed the evidence, and followed the law. The prosecution 'banked' on these women liking the young victim more than they could ever like Zimmerman. That didn't work, and justice was well served.
