    I put this up every time someone posts a Thomas Sowell commentary, but I had him for a labor economics class at UCLA and the guy is even sharper on his feet than he is on paper. He was brilliant, and if you were not prepared, he would fry you in your seat. He did not grade on the curve, either. If the whole class screwed up, everyone got Fs.

    Good to hear from you. Prof. Sowell is always a good investment of one's time. Without any teaching credentials, I have trained many people quite sophisticated skills, in a noisy, dirty machine shop. The environment is of little import. The money spent is the same.
