April 1975, as the war in Vietnam was coming to an end Operation Frequent Wind was not only able to evacuate Embassy staff but 7000 refugees in a two day period. In all, 675,000 refugees were evacuated in the dying weeks of the war.
One of thee US principles has always been to come to the rescue of our Fellow Americans wherever they might be. UNTIL NOW.
My husband says the primary issue with Benghazi is the treasonous gun running to the Syrian terrorist rebels.
Although that along with the cover-up and lies to We the People is reprehensible; to me the worst of all sins is the complete abandonment of our people ! We did not even attempt a rescue. It was 7 hours into the attack that Doherty and Woods were killed. Why did we do NOTHING ???? CIA personnel were told to stand down due to lack of Air Support.
Never in US History has this Nation simply turned its back and abandoned one of its Ambassadors and personnel in such a blatant manner !!!! That is what infuriates me the most. If you see the pictures of Amb. Stevens dead in the streets of Benghazi it gets seared into your cortex.
Have we become such a cowardly, spineless nation that we abandon our own?
Have we no shame that we lie and make up fictitious stories to cover up our incompetence and lack of fortitude?
What say you?

Yes. We've gone weak. It was voted in by useful idiots. And they are literally getting away with murder. We are the laughing stock of the world. And the sheep sleep.

No. It is our leadership that is spineless.
American character is still alive and well in the people who built and will continue to build this nation.
Those who continue to take unearned handouts as an alternative to taking responsibility for themselves will continue to weaken this nation.

Forgot to mention the reprehensible and now Infamous quote:
" What difference, at this point does it make? " - Hillary Clinton

      The difference it makes:

If it was a spontaneous demonstration, then the correct response is saturation bombing, preferably with napalm, of the entire city surrounding the embassy compound.

If it was a terrorist attack, the correct response is to investigate, infiltrate and find the sanctuary of the terrorists... and destroy it.
