This is why we need new leadership in a party that was once fiscally conservative and believed in principles. Now it has become the party of "get along" and doling out goodies just like the other guys. A race to the bottom as it were.

And I say %60 - %80 of Republicans, i.e. the Republicans of convenience, i.e. the Tea Party, are likely not to stay.

  Unfortunately this will leave us with "the other guys" who have proven themselves to be disingenuous to the point of ignoring the rule of law, and to the point of trampling on the honest hard-working Americans in order to get their way. And their way does not end well for we the people.

  Agreed. As a Tea Partier, I left the Neo-Whigs before there was a Tea Party. My local US congressman regularly comes to Tea Party events, but other than him, there has been no one at the national or State of Florida level that I stomach enough to vote for that I could vote for.

I saw a interview this morning--she said she didn’t say it. The reporter also read through her speech and didn’t find the language. If the tactic is to mislead the public to believe that the Republicans will not repeal Obamacare, it is working. None-the-less...
I think Mitt Romney lost because he wouldn’t stay out of health care. He promised repeal but then promised a plan of his own.
I’m still as angry about this law as when Pelosi took to the podium in 2009 with her proclamation that the Dems had a Christmas present for the American people.
Get the government out of health care, period. I know it will hurt and there will be a lot of anger reversed but...no quarters. Who is brave enough to fight for what I want and restore the freedom that has been robbed from me? My vote is up for grabs.

  Government should NOT be involved in healthcare just as it should not be involved in any other non-Constitutionally mandated area. That said, Heritage's analysis of the 2013 Federal spending showed that only 19 percent of that spending went to that area - national defense.
