In the People's Republic of Maryland a Republican or Libertarian vote is rarely worth a Sou but I like to exercise the privilege anyway. I think the electorate does not take this seriously enough and think that each person that wants to vote should have to post a $1,000 bond which could be returned with interest when they reach age 65. I can think of many ills this would kill and no disadvantages. Perhaps Gulchers can think of some?
