I don't get it. That is a discussion the parents can have with their kids if they decide to. The school needs to concentrate on improving math and reading scores.

I am great. Just learning some new songs for the band. Winter is mostly over and now spring time in the Rockies is rain/snow/sunshine/cold/warm/sleet and it can all be on the same day.

How are things back your way?

Getting ready for spring. Not much is growing yet. Should be getting busy at work soon. We do 7 days a week in May and June. Grueling but I enjoy it. Have you ever posted a video of your band playing?

You don't want a video of our band playing, believe me. I'm hoping what I have tried to institute will fix that, but I'm getting a lot of resistance. There are several people in the band that figure if it's loud enough and distorted enough and just making a wall of noise then it's OK. I'm saying we either get good or I won't bother with them anymore.

Nothing is growing here yet. Maybe in another month things will start peeking up out of the ground. Last years spuds are being shipped out so the farmers should start planting soon.

I can't wait for the flowers to start blooming and the profusion of color everywhere. Most businesses have hanging baskets overflowing with life, and even sometimes planters on the sidewalks. The fields will turn green and the animals will slick up. Very pastoral, especially with the snow-capped mountains in the background.

Surprise ending! There is no adultery. The truth is that Ruby's husband Mike is secretly a cross dresser, and the neon green hairclip is his, and the long strands of black hair are from his wig.

What a twist! M. Night Shyamalan would be proud.

would need some zombies or ghosts for MNS to be interested.

Clever, but not sure that is any better a lesson for an elementary school student.

Additional twist: the town is being invaded by invisible zombie aliens that can only be seen by Mike and Ruby's six-year-old son, Max.

My daughter is starting Kindergarten this year.. I'm really not looking forward to this I'll have to make sure to deprogram her on a daily basis.

They have her for 6 to 7 hours (assuming all day K) and you will have her attention for just a couple. Going to be hard to counter indoctrination as you first need to find out what was conveyed, then figure out how best to counter it, all the while not undermining the teacher and school admin so that she still respects them and respectfully challenges what they say. That's a tall task. I'd home school or find a good private school that doesn't buy into the whole CC concept.

My better half says it is too late, those days of deprogramming are over. You need to pull her out. By the book "Credentialed to Destroy; How and Why Education became a weapon." by Robin Eubanks.

This is a Soviet psychological experiment and it will cause brain damage. We wish we were joking.

Go look at missourieducationwatchdog.com and see a photo of a Kindergartener in tears. There's a video on Youtube called "faces of common core". There you will see what it is doing to the little ones.
