It's an odd time when I find myself in agreement with many on the other side of the aisle. But I think everyone should take note who the law and order republicans are on this issue and push back. I listened to a recording of Bush who said the other day regarding this case, that everyone was furious we had not connected the dots (9/11). the Patriot Act was all about "connecting the dots" better. Since 9/11, attacks have been thwarted, but not that many compared to local authorities tipping off the FBI or CIA. I remember one-a man from Denver plotting to bomb NY. He worked for the TSA at Denver International! wtf! they can't even weed them out in a security process to work as security in the airport?! btw, you would not believe the number of women working in TSA at the denver airport who wear hijabs. Seems disproportional to the overall population. just an observation I don't have stats

My own congressman Mike Rogers is becoming a serious threat to our liberty. He doesn't see the potential and probable abuse. He is one of those Mr.Franklin warned us about. l don't trust this or any future government agency with this much stored data. In the end we will have neither security nor liberty.

One of my senators, Udall, D from CO, has been out front on this issue. The other democrat senator is closed lipped on the subject. My representative, R, recently made a slip and disclosed some classified info, so he is laying low as well. He has been very active on the DHS ammo, guns and vehicle built-up
