The battle begins

We need to be equally well-organized and motivated. Think about it. Obama should have lost the last election given the economics and everything else happening. Kind of makes we wonder how many dead people and illegals voted. (We also need to push for voter ID laws.)

- 1Posted by CircuitGuy 10 years, 7 months agoDead people and illegals? The post is for people to work on climate change, which is one of the most important issues of our time. Who's paying? My wife and I go to several fundraisers a year related to this issue, and my wife's practice donates legal services to them. There is a huge mass of people dedicated to solving all kinds of problems, even less publicized problems. There's no conspiracy. (The "beat back regressive rightwing politics" stuff is just selling it. I don't approve of their politicizing the issue!) People just see a problem and do something about it.Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink|
- 1Posted by iroseland 10 years, 7 months agoI would like to point out that 24k a year would mean that they are not paying the 15$ minimum wage that the left so loves around here..Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink|
- 1Posted by Lana 10 years, 7 months agoOh one more thing.... The real travesty is that our government is for sale. Why are corporations, foreign governments... anyone with money able to buy favors and legislation. The outside interests have pushed the corrupt to an obscene point. If you want to blame anyone, blame the bribers and the bribed...Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink|
- 1Posted by CircuitGuy 10 years, 7 months agoYes. And that's a bipartisan problem. People who get behind one party 100% are buying into a corrupt system, IMHO.Mark as read | Parent | Best of... | Permalink|

- 1Posted by Lana 10 years, 7 months agoOh and by the way.... When looking at the two candidates , Obama and Romney, more people related to the optimistic message of Change rather than elect a vulture capitalist... No he is no true capitalist... Just a vulture. The average person...asks themselves why is Romney deducting horse dressage when I can't deduct the medical care for my children. Something is really wrong with this picture. He gets ridiculous deductions when the average joe can't make ends meet. Both parties made this government a travesty. The only difference is that the Republicans only care about the 1% and there are lots of looters in that 1%. And I used to vote Republican....Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink|
- 1Posted by CircuitGuy 10 years, 7 months agoI voted for the optimistic msg of change too, but I think it's wrong to call VC's vultures. Entrepreneurs need to be tough and willing to walk away from a deal that takes too much equity. It's not a VC's fault for offering money.Mark as read | Parent | Best of... | Permalink|

- 1Posted by Lana 10 years, 7 months agoSurely Romney was no competition. The American people do not hold the politicians accountable. They hold their noses and vote for the lesser of two evils. Someone had written that the DC crowd should collect average pay and have average benefits that would end with their term. I say that they should only get paid what the voters assign them at the end of a term. All...ALL politicians should be vetted.Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink|

- 1Posted by CircuitGuy 10 years, 7 months agoWe are committed and sometimes effective. If you've been to our fundraisers, though, you know we're disorganized. I don't know what it is about environmental orgs, but we can't seem to organize things very well.Mark as read | Parent | Best of... | Permalink|

- 1Posted by NoMoreObama 10 years, 7 months agoI'm going to flood my neighborhood with flyers about what Obama and the Dems have done to this country. Seeing as I am in the 1% when it comes to my party affiliation, I'll do it during the daytime when people are working. I'm going to read Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals"; I might as well use the same tools that the Dems are.Mark as read | Parent | Best of... | Permalink|

- 1Posted by NoMoreObama 10 years, 7 months agoThat's what Reps tend to do and it didn't work so well the last election IMO. If you're going to wrestle with pigs/libs/radicals/dems plan on getting dirty. I've been nice/silent too long.Mark as read | Parent | Best of... | Permalink|
