"... It looks better and has a more interesting story to tell than Part I, and it tells it well. Part of that advantage is because of the events in Part II of the novel which the film tracks almost precisely; the story is in motion and there’s more interesting action to dramatize."

    Hmmm. I love Reason magazine, but they should know that novels and movies are not able to get the same message across. Books are far more powerful at an individual level. But a movie is valuable in that it can bring a mass audiance to work through the individual effort required to enjoy a book.
