I attended an NBI Basic Principles of Objectivism lecture delivered in person by Nathanial Brandon in Toronto in 1962, and, at 19, became a fundamentalist Ayn Rand convert, pulling Atlas and Fountainhead books out of my pockets for instant quotes like blazing six-shooters. I've mellowed a little. After founding the Libertarian Party of Ontario, in 1975, and being it's first Federal Deputy Leader, I learned the hard way that intransigent, principled positions don't win political majorities and renounced that venue.
I now live the happy life that rational thought and hard-earned self-esteem generates, and have created myown Galt's Gulch in my personal environment. That being said, I am delighted to have the opportunity to make contact with other like-minded people!
