I thought it was worth banning. It was a one trick pony in which the same joke was done over and over and over again. Besides, who wants ro see a hairy legged man in his tidy whities?
My sentiment exactly--too drawn out and repetitive. Had they cut right from the first guy stripping to his undies to the final "best clothing drive ever" scene, it would have been just as funny but the humor wouldn't have worn thin.
And if they'd put the men in boxers instead of briefs, perhaps it would have been allowed on TV.
it was an aussie commercial showing a guy on the beach drinking beer after beer from a cooler ... and then when he was just starting on his last bottle, a gorgeous brunette comes up out of the waves, smoothing her hair back and adjusting her bikini ... she saunters up to him, takes the bottle from his hand, drinks some and spills some down her front. then, she stoops over to let him catch the part which she spilled. This has been a trend in American TV commercials for at least two decades, originally subtle, but now more than obvious - whenever there are a male and a female in the ad, almost without exception, the male is made to look like an idiot or in some respect dumb or inadequate. Excellent education for the new generations! America has chosen a multi-prong approach to self-destruction - economic, political and cultural.
I'll drink it when it comes my way as the proverbial gift horse; "Wanna beer?" "Yeah." "Would you like a Bud Light?" "Is that all you have? "Yeah." "Thanks, I'll have one."
Being a home brewer, I agree. Beer has a fantastic history and the "megaswills" of Bud, Coors, et al, are a pathetic insult on what can be done with barley, hops, water and yeast. And the concept of a "light beer" ('wet air,' 'fizzy water,') goes against the reason beer exists: to save the world: https://vimeo.com/23278902
LOL, Maybe when it comes to things like that, guys really never grow up. Evidently, Budweiser thinks that if they can target a young demographic and win them over, the kids will be loyal when they are old enough to buy beer.

Bud Light? Seriously? Look up "crappy, tasteless beer" in a beer dictionary and you'll find a Bud Light label. Pure hosspiss.

"Yeah."
"Would you like a Bud Light?"
