Feinstein Wants Obama to Pull a Clinton on Firearm Importation

In a letter to Obama, the text of which was included in an article published by the Daily Caller on Thursday, Feinstein said that, "at a minimum," the BATFE should:
prohibit importation of all semiautomatic rifles that can accept, or be readily converted to accept, a large capacity ammunition magazine of more than 10 rounds . . . . prohibit semiautomatic rifles with fixed magazines with a capacity of more than 10 rounds, prohibit the importation of the frame or receiver of any prohibited rifle . . . . prohibit the practice of importing assault rifles in parts …. prohibit the use of a "thumbhole" stock . . . . and prohibit the importation of assault pistols.

I cannot believe how insane this woman is, really, a thumbhole stock is a problem that requires all the resources of the federal government to stamp out? A thumbhole stock allows a shooter to better handle the rifle as it's fired. Most sane people understand that controlling the firearm means safe operation, not the opposite. She'd have us believe that all crime is committed with weapons that have a thumbhole stock, but a check of the FBI crime stats for the past 10 years show that there was 1 murder each year with a firearm that had a thumbhole stock - that quite a crime spree there Nanc!! We must DO something!
Perhaps Nancy and Bloomberg should take up the cause to ban axes - there were 368 people killed with axes in that same 10 year period.
