Unregulated Internet
I was thinking about this the other day.
If internet wasn't regulated do you think we would be in the same spot as we are now, or do you think it would be more cutthroat.
For example:
If you purchased internet from Verizon, it would block all other phone companies websites except for verizon, block companies that don't support verizon's goals as a company?
Obviously the consumer would revolt, but if everyone did it at the beginning, would we have widespread access to the internet like we do now? I mean business is business, when you are streaming through servers it would be easy to set up road blocks and detours that kept your consumers on websites you would rather promote.

If not for the internet, it is likely that the freedom movement we are all seeing today, wouldn't happen.Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink|
