From the article: "The police department in Rialto, Calif., concluded a yearlong University of Cambridge study last year that found an 89 percent drop in complaints against officers during the camera trial. The chief has since mandated its deployment to its roughly 90 sworn officers."
I've read of another study that had a 60% reduction. Those numbers are more than significant, they are earth shattering.
It's funny how people behave differently when they know they can be held accountable for their actions due to proof of what they did or did not do. How about body cameras for all public servants?
Yes, and audio reorders for all elected officials to wear at all times as long as in office. If we can see and hear what all of these people actually do, then just maybe we could get real 'public servants.'
