I am a libertarian activist associated with a group named "Neo-Swashbucklers." Our idea is to pre-plan an evacuation from the United States using the river system and, specifically, sailboats. We believe that an evacuation will be necessary because of collectivist policies which will certainly result in what we call the Great Collapse. We plan to meet in a body of water on the Louisiana coast know as Lost Lake where we will raft up, survive by hunting, fishing and using supplies from a pre-positioned cache with the additional idea of determining where in the world there is the most economic freedom and sailing a flotilla to that location. We regard anything "owned" by a government entity, particularly by the US government, as having been illegitimately obtained and therefore subject to seizure by us, but we respect the property rights of all private individuals who have earned their property without force. We have existed as a group of individuals since November of 2002 and we have made a number of enemies since our inception. Fortunately our enemies are dull witted, slow moving and have bad knees - not uncommon among moochers, looters and other collectivists. We are also fascinated by ideas about artificial islands in international waters that have libertarian goals and, eventually, libertarian spaceports on earth and elsewhere. And we exchange cooking and frozen drink recipes a lot.
