I don't know what his views are but Timothy Olyphant would be a good fit imo. Fits the part physically and he has played a few different characters. Like the show Justified he is in now.

Benedict Cumberbach is a fantastic choice because he is the only actor with the intensity, gravitas and skill to play such a part.

Hugo Wallace Weaving. He has aptly demonstrated a wonderful ability to deliver massive, intelligent dialogue with power, poise and precision (V for Vendetta, Cloud Atlas, etc.). That is, after all, what John Galt does the most of, isn't it? May need a make up artist to pretty him up a bit but my personal opinion is he would be a best option for the role.

Daniel Craig would be awesome. He has the steely no-nonsense attitude, good looks and a good hold of characters like this. His father, was a merchant seaman turned steel erector so there is personal knowledge of metals manufacturing in his family past for character reference.

I would like to see someone who can express the philosophy in film and perhaps has done so in real life. Oliphant could pull it off. Dennis Miller probably too old but could kick-----..
