Pardon me if I'm behind the times, but the article said the premiere will be in September. Is that correct? I've been telling friends that it was to be released in theatres July 4th.

It's the only movie my wife and I are likely to see any time soon.

Our love to you, sir, for bringing it to the Big Screen. You got it done.

I'm sure she'd say, "Of course you did. You chose to."

Interesting article. I have a much better idea of what to expect and I'm excited to see it. Please post the places it will be playing when they'er available as I may have to travel to see it in a theatre. I enjoyed seeing Hannity and Teller in ASP2 so having about 10 known personalities should be quite interesting.

I read up on the Director and was impressed with the work he's done in the past.

Nicely done. I know that many here will join with me in thanking all of those involved with allowing us out here in flyover country a glimpse into the world of Hollywood. When I purchase a DVD for my home movie collection, I first start by watching all the "extras" in order to better understand the vision behind the lens. I really enjoy the comments by the directors the producers and actors. The out takes and even the blooper reel gives insight into the story behind the story.

Being able to watch and experience the filming (do they still use that term?) real time was a treat. The lost time as I was watching Atlas being born on one screen while trying to work on three others, slowed my production, but that was OK. It was value for value.

The problem is that the first two parts of Atlas Shrugged are just not that good film-making:( The producer had a noble idea, but it needed a top director and great actors to make this more than one more propaganda film. While there are some good moments in the first two films, I am struck by the fact that much of Rand's really wonderful language is omitted in the films. I recall miles of train tracks instead of some of the speeches that made Rand's book great!:(

Friends, at least *try* and take off the Randroid goggles and see the film for what it is. A very faint shadow of the original!
