Checking out the audience reviews you will find many positive reviews voting the movie four or five stars. You will also find a much small number a typical collectivist reviews voting zero to one star. There are almost no average reviews of two or three stars. How would something like this ever objectively get graded on a bell curve?
As expected, the critics who love real movies about military corporations trying to take over a planet of tall tree hugging blue aliens with hair that talks to the communal planetary mind, are starting to squeak. As expected their subjective reviews are negative against the ideas and thus the movie. The audience rating remains at 78% Liked it.
Come on, Solver, don't hold back; say what you really think about Avatar. ;} By the by, did you meet the winner of the ASP2 Promotion Video part of the Earning Contest? Or is that (and her or his winning entry)... seekrit?
I liked the movie Avatar. But I tend to like even unreal science fiction/fantasy movies. My wife and I met a lot of people at the world premier event and shook some hands. It was very busy. Unfortunately, no one offered to give us a personal tour and no one had name tags. We did meet a couple of ladies who were also winners of the "Earning Contest."
