Sheriffs are elected officials and Gov appointees are attempting to be bring them down. THAT should be the first red flag. I think Arpaio gets sued every other day for some scandalous thing or another and nothing ever sticks. You said, "ruling against him". Was there a ruling or just some accusations (again).? Bully tactics from the left who can't stand someone who actually WANTS to do what they were elected to do.
As for the gun march...if there's a huge amount of people who show up it would be strong and symbolic, but with all the lunatics in this country who think a gun on a hip, or slung over one's back is a direct threat of some kind, things could get hairy... maybe not. What I want to know is this. D.C. has strict gun laws (hence all the crime), so I'm not sure if taking guns is even "legal"...but maybe that's the point. I haven't heard too much about it....it should get interesting.
