How To Lose Your Posting Privileges In 10 Minutes

I’m now live in the pinko liberal stronghold of my state. About a month ago I signed up to post comments on the local rag’s (newspaper) website. The vast majority of those who post there are to the left of Karl Marx, The handful of so-called conservatives posting are so weak and stupid they are constantly playing defense – and getting their butts kicked.
Local politics here in “Little Chicago” are as dirty and corrupt as they come and often the source of debate. Democrats hold almost all elected offices and the Republicans that do win an office are RINOS.
I commented to an editor’s opinion article regarding republicans running for local offices. I wrote, “ There is a two party system here in P*****. The first party consists of democrats that get elected to political office and appoint their family and friends to cushy patronage jobs with all the trimmings. The second party consists of democrats that don’t get elected to political office and have to go back on welfare.” The firestorm that followed was massive and the newspaper shut down my posting account and locked me out of viewing entire news articles in digital format. Boy, that was fun.

Ben Franklin and Thomas Paine would be livid
I was considering going Galt for 5 years before I did it, everytime I had to write that 5 figure check to pay my quarterlys. After the national elections in 2008 I decided to pull the pin. I was a difficult decision but looking back and looking forward, I'm glad I did it.
