We have earned Trump. Apparent experts have managed to screw everything up they have touched. Then they remind us that the reason their program failed is that it wasn't big enough, expensive enough and we didn't fully accept it soon enough. After a while even the voice of reason sounds like another impractical scheme hatched up by some Ivy League son of a father that rode on the coattails of his grandfather that actually accomplished something. The public is so bewildered that they don't believe anything anyone says and they are mad as hell. I don't think they are fooled by Trump but want to stick it in the eye of professional politicians and feel a clown can do no worse.
