*Seeking skilled people*: Gaming project
As some here know, aside from writing my novels I've undertaken a project to develop and on-line multi-user game in the futuristic apocalyptic genre.
A few months in, I have a team of 4 (myself included), and I'm finding that the team isn't satisfactorily manned to my liking; mainly life has gotten in the way of forward progress for some and more hands would be beneficial to all. Each of us, myself included, is working for eventual royalty's garnered from a kick-ass product that will appeal to genre audience. Sales of similar games in the same genre, developed by little known or completely unknown production companies, have sold 1 million copies, people think they stink, and they continue to sell.
I'm looking to enlist people, or people dedicated to learning in a real-time environment, those skilled in one or more if the following:
Unreal Engine 4
- Blueprints and/or C++ Gaming coding
- Character Animation
Blender, Photoshop, Photoshop After Effects, etc
Conceptual Artists capable of 2D and 3D development for standard actors: Human Characters, non-human characters, a variety of houses, signs, clothing, weapons, vehicles, etc as well as ideas that originate in my mind.
I already have people in each of these positions but the 120sq km environment necessitates more artists and the number of modules needed to bring forth the environment as I envision it requires another coder in order to ensure meeting our project alpha release date (June/July 2016).
We currently use a Perforce P4 server for collaboration and will be eying a co-hosted virtual server to work out bugs in the near future.
While we are spread out across the US, we communicate daily and work to improve the landscape while the characters and modules are being constructed.
If you possess any of these skills and are interested in joining the team please contact me.
