On another thread I started to posting a few things that get under my skin that our society blames as the cause of some evil in society. I thought it may be rather fun to create a thread to look at such things and point out just how stupid it is to blame others for the choice of the individual.

These could come from warning labels, headlines or simply your own mind.

A couple example:

Its the blow dryer manufactures fault that when you blow dry your hair in the tub and drop the blow dryer in the water it is the blow dryer manufactures fault, not yours, that you get electrocuted.

Not really related- At the Catholic Church School in my town in front of the school is a demonstration against abortion. They have probably two hundred crosses in the grass. Yes it is their property and they can do stupid things on it but how to you explain abortion to a five year old? Elementary kids- hard on abortion. My boyfriend and I were joking, because they took it down before school and it went back up about a month later, that it was a "back to school" project to paint the crosses white.

I do not think explaining abortion to a 5 year old should be done, if for some reason it had to be done (because they asked the question) it should come from the parent and no one else.

Abortion is to much a belief based thing, because your definition of when life begins changes the whole picture and there are very valid arguments for conception and very valid arguments for first breath.

At any rate even a 4th grader, not something they have the ability to worry about or need to understand yet.

5th grade, time to start explaining things to your kids but the abortion discussion is now a discuss when needed and appropriate between parent and child.

The government should be involved in the decision of abortion folks (both for and against) could use the slogan "Kids - hard on abortion" on signs in front the school :)

My own view is doctors should be able to decide for themselves if they want to do abortions and women should have the same option.

The only think I can see being required by law, and I still don't like it, is an ultrasound to see the little guy cause he likely looks like a little person, has finger nails starting up and the whole works. Alive or not the woman has to live with doing it and she should know what she is doing before doing it. I am a male so I do not have to live iwith this ever, but I cannot imagine any option with an unwanted pregnancy to be easy. You either kill it, give it up for adoption or raise it. When your not ready to do the last option the responsible thing to do is one of the other two, either one is going to haunt a person for the rest of there life. The perfect option no longer exists at that point and a woman has to decide which is best for her.

This "humor" post has taken a dismal turn. Sorry Xenox. (The abortion decision is SOOO avoidable. I can't even wrap my head around an "unwanted pregnancy" in the first place. There's a ton of ways to avoid it. (But that takes being responsible). As I've told my teenage boys... one bad decision leads to another. Anybody who gets a girl knocked up (without intending to) is an ignoramus. There is NO excuse other than being a lazy, stupid idiot. There are ways to avoid it readily available. Be smart...either don't do it or Armour up boys! And never trust a girl who says she on the pill. That's the oldest ploy in the book. If you don't want 'em, don't make 'em.)
