from wdonway's article: "When the evils of a powerful institution, able to punish its detractors, are attacked by its enemies, it is dramatic. When the same institution, for the same evils, is attacked by those who loved it and depended upon it, it is heroic."

I have always thought that a vow of celibacy is so anti-life that it will ultimately lead to perversity, as the vow is perverse in itself.
What was so unbelievable was how this institution would protect evil in order to protect itself.
I know Catholics who refuse to face the truth.
