I tend to find the economic freedom index to be much more accurate than the "prosperity index." The prosperity index has a liberal bias built into the metrics used. The Economic Freedom Index has Norway ranked at 27th while the U.S. is at 13.

Economically free states provide more prosperity to its citizens the the less economically free states! The more economically free states have higher median wages, less poverty, less inequality and the people are happier! This is everything the left stands for and the most economically free states do better in every category!
