I am a 64 year old Mechanical Engineer, Scientist, and Inventor. I have designed a solar collector that utilizes 75% of available solar energy. My collector will convert 32% of available solar energy to electricity and utilize about 40 to 45 % of available solar energy to produce steam. The electricity created can be used for the electrolytic production of hydrogen
and the steam can be used for the desalination of seawater. I have no desire to tie-in to the Grid. Mye energy sytem will provide for all of the energy needs of an off-grid community including water for agriculture.
It is my desire to create farmland from semi-arid land on the Texas Gulf Coast. > Energy Independence and self sufficiency are economically possible. Unlike John Galt, I am a Christian. " Do not remember not the things, nor consider the thing of old. Behold,I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth: shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert--- I give waters in the wilderness and rivers int he desert to give drink to My people, My chosen.

read your posting, above. . if you can achieve those
efficiencies, you are doing Great Things!! . I am also
an ME and have a clue about some things. . I would
think that only near-black-body radiative heating
could achieve 75 percent utilization of the sun's
energy. . might we know how to invest in your
system? -- john
How can a scientist be so misled into compartmentalization of his standards of evidence?
