Great article NMA. Perhaps those that blindly follow what a celebrity says will listen to a celebrity with a different point of view.

I actually went to the same public high school that Kevin Sorbo went to in a pretty progressive state (Minnesota). I agree that common core is crap, but as long as you teach your kids to think for themselves and to question and test other people's opinions then I think they will end up just fine. This of course requires you to be actively involved in your children's lives and to participate in their education. It takes a lot of time, but in the end I think they end up better that way because they hear both sides and then can form their own opinions based on logic.
