    I'm torn because I oppose what they're doing, but I like part of their goal, I like their willingness to act. It reminds me of stories from my parents' generation about how similar actions changed Madison. I've read about it in They Marched Into Sunlight.

    OTOH I really disagree with the identity politics, esp racial politics in a time when the POTUS is dark skinned. We should be trying to put it behind us.

      I thought their action was to prevent action. As for comment two mentioning it is racist. The only way racism, sexism and bigotry will be erased is when they are not tolerated in word written or spoke or deed in any form. Dark skinned is an example. It's no different than than saying nigger or wop or broad or greaser. Try a little harder. Start with yourself. Start with refusing to fill out the racist government forms that ask such racist questions.
