I'm very happy to have landed in the Gulch as ever since I read all of Ayn Rand's books in high school back in the sixties, I have agreed with her principles and have had a lot of disagreements. It was really bad in Boulder, CO in the 60's and 70's. Now I'm down on S. Padre Island year round, we've learned how to avoid the mongrel hordes and a friend we met a couple of years ago was nice enough to forward this us. Thank You. I have a degree in Chemistry and this was hilarious.

We need a discussion on the Fourth Law of Thermodynamics, which is the innate cussedness of inanimate objects, such as garbage men. If you can sleep late that day, they will be there @0400. All of the "Murphy's Laws" are corollaries to the 4th. Another statement of the 4th is that all failures will proceed in the direction of the least available component, all components being equally available it will proceed in the direction of the most expensive. eed thoughts on this.

Hi David. My uncle lives in McAllen Texas and my wife and I went to South Padre Island for our honeymoon. Glad you found us. Welcome to the Gulch.

We've been on the island for 6 years, My first time here was on our honeymoon and we started coming down twice a year, got to know a lot of the locals and eventually bought here right after Dolly. Brought the price down by $100K, We still have a lot of family in Colorado (and a pickup load of stuff in a friend's basement in Wyoming)
