TPP trade deal: why it's great according to Obama's speech writer

The Register: "From a purely US perspective, the best pitch for the deal comes from President Obama who summed it up thus: 'The TPP means that America will write the rules of the road in the 21st century. When it comes to Asia, one of the world’s fastest-growing regions, the rulebook is up for grabs. And if we don’t pass this agreement – if America doesn’t write those rules – then countries like China will. And that would only threaten American jobs and workers and undermine American leadership around the world.'"
Sounds like Obama - just another pantload of irrelevant common expressions - "rules of the road", "punching above your weight" - with no real substance, regarding an incomprehensible legally obfuscated word salad generated by lawyers that talks about who can sue whom.

I will not depend on this article to assuage my trepidation regarding this secretly negotiated agreement.
I want more details first.
