China misstates carbon emissions with 17% error

Will the Chinese government be castigated and sued like Volkswagen? I would have to wager the economy of Germany that it will not..

        As much as a hate the currant occupant of the white house.....I will have to defend him on the lying issue. He generally tells the truth...ie"I will fundamentally change America" Or how about this zinger... "well maybe she has just had a good life" [an honest answer he gave during the election when asked about death panels and an 81 year old lady getting a pacemaker] He actually generally tells the truth but the press just seems to lets the crazy Marxist crap he spouts it slide by and the bulk of the populous never questions anything a political leader says, unless the press makes a cause celeb about it.

          I don't think he generally tells the truth, though sometimes he does, such as when he as a candidate told "Joe the Plumber" that "I want to spread the wealth around."
          That admission frightened his coddling commies in the media so much that they had to dig up background negatives on (he only asked a question) Joe as if the plumber without a license was the one running for president.
          That whole thing totally amazed me,.

            I forgot this excellent example. You are making my argument for me, although I suspect that you and I are not actually arguing here but merely discussing differences in how we perceive that the Devil operates, I think we do not disagree that he is evil.

            If you can stomach it, I think you'll change your mind.
            Once he said, "Republicans want dirty air, dirty water" as if Republicans do not have kids. .
            This year will be the hottest one ever also. Just like last year was. And the one before it . . .

          Nope - he's an outright liar. What amazes me is how many people in the media were willing to let it pass when it happened. Compare that to their vendetta against Ben Carson and a statement from 40 years ago... Absolutely no hypocrisy there... NOT!

            On that you are correct....that was a bald faced lie....you know what confused me was that unlike the normal Democrat, he has actually told the truth on occasion. Compared to someone like Bill Clinton.....who would tell a lie if the truth worked better....Obama's few slip-ups where he spoke the truth, makes him appear to be a paragon of virtue!

    An enterprising John Galt would've found a way to use CO2 as a fuel for his generator. For some reason, I have yet to see any effort going in that particular direction.
    Of course, using up mass quantities of CO2 would virtually guarantee the rapid deforestation of the planet, which would eventually kill us all.
    Hey...none of us is getting out of this, alive, anyway.

    heard about unemployment lately? . 95 million able-bodied
    folks are idle, and it's only 5 percent of 320 million ...
    or some other smaller number. . sh!t, 5 percent of 320 million

    The main reason I posted this is because the Chinese government wants to sue the US for carbon emissions ex post facto but they can't account for their own coal (the main source of power) use even within 17 percent. It's a joke!

      Speaking of the common pot on boats we refer to it as the cedar bucket. Reading your description I'd say proponents of that system are well equipped and I shall gladly give new altruistic meaning to the phrase observing they have a pot to p--s in. soon as I finish this brewski.
