This issue may have garnered support from the left and the right, but what will bring the President down is the press.

While the press may have been willing to let just about anything else slide, a direct attack against them will have them turning on Obama so fast his head will spin. By coming after the press, they will now use every and any story to pull him down from his pedestal in all out war to show him they are not to be trifled with at all.
