it all comes down to this; WE are all the enemy if we disagree with 0 and happen to own a fire arm!

I've been warning people about a USSR-style suppression of even civil dissent that is looming. Statements made on social media that suggest a willingness to use violence against government will pin a target on your back. Anonymous tips that suggest to government law enforcement that you might be mentally unstable (because of your political views) will eventually lead to confiscation of arms, and being sent to "retraining" camps to get your mind in the proper state of political correctness.

With a background supporting government intelligence agencies, I try to advise people to avoid the use of "cloud" information services, as those are fertile hunting grounds for NSA searches. Where in the past, we've been protected from too much invasion of our lives by government agencies, spreading the definition of what constitutes a "terrorist" ever wider makes many of us permitted targets of invasive search and legal action.

I think that we are all aware of the incremental creep of labeling and re-framing that is going on. I find this quite scary, since it has worked quite well in the past, and I think that the advent of social media has made Naming more rapid and fluid than in previous years.

NSA, CIA, ATF and DEA all need to go away. Not sure what the difference is between the proper role of US Marshalls and the FBI either.

Who gets to decide who is extreme? Given this current admin any person who openly supports Donald Trump or who watches FOX news would certainly be considered EXTREME!

Nothing new here. It started with Lincoln and has continued by presidents ever since.

Now I understand why the NSA needs to be all-knowing and powerful. Its real purpose is to protect our government from people who no longer believe it is a just government. The next bunch of laws will target people who disagree with the government's plans and actions and who talk about their upset. The purpose of the first amendment was to prevent such governmental actions, and the second amendment was to give citizens some powers against the government becoming like nazi germany. 2nd amendment wasnt to protect us from other citizens- but to protect us against a government gone wrong.

It would seem that the extremists are those who neither need or want government intervention into their lives. How can this administration use the words 'extremist' and 'terrorist' when they won't use it against people or groups who behead, hang, torture, rape, bomb, and destroy most civilized institutions the right holds dear and defends?

I assume extremist in this context is taken to mean one who resorts to violence in order to achieve a given end. In this case, a "right-wing" end. I think this instance of the phrase "right-wing extremists" was borrowed from the European usage and used without any context that could connect that usage with the intended one here in the States. If this is true, BHO is really trying to destroy our country before the next election. So, the DOJ is going to arrest all the Republican Candidates so HC can be become queen? Or they going to arrest NRA organization and members and or other Gun advocate groups? The DOJ going to need huge internment camps for quarter of the American population. How would the DOJ feed and keep healthy that kind of population? Plus, wrecking the economy with that many citizens incarcerated who had jobs.

This is frightening and all the more reason to go off the grid. But it is not surprising as this "collapse of a once great empire" has happened over and over again since the beginning of humankind. But now we have a lot more technology in the mix which will make it even more sinister.

Sadly, since 911 there is a need in this country to stop things before they start but our government isn't concentrating on the fact that it is the government's inability to concentrate on the problem that IS the problem.

The warning has been in the wings for a while, on such a non-innocuous site as Facebook. When you get emails with things you posted on there 7 (yes Seven) years ago (bringing back to life things otherwise lost in the statutes of limitations...), you know they are keeping a very detailed database of you, your thoughts, activities and postings.

As it is well known that this site is more than happy to supply their government masters with whatever their bidding requires... you may have condemned yourself many years ago, forgotten all about that single innocent outburst against "the machine", and given them the fodder to send you off to the camps as a non-cooperative potential subversive...

While FB is merrily reminding you that they hold your records and are more than happy to disclose them, know that because they are now brought back from the data grave, others may just as easily access (and use) them.
