This may have been posted previously in the Gulch. But, worth another look with all the new folks who joined since this originally came out. Scary.

    But seriously? Come on people. One thing a former KGB member is good at is PROPAGANDA! Do we feel scared? Do we feel defeated? Do we feel hopeless? Then, who needs a communist operative or Obama, we defeated ourselves.

    This is the result of the complaceny culture that the Obama Administration (and is cronies) counted on to win both elections. This country has been decieved twice by this secret agenda fed president.

    Communism has won in America. We have the highest obesity, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, teenage pregnancy, and single parent families rates in the world. Toss in illiterate and dependent ... and the vast majority of our population are nothing more than serfs ... waiting for a few alms.

        No reason, other than obesity often increases the probability of becoming a diabetic.

          Then say type 2 diabetes. (Type 1 has NOTHING to do with obesity.) I hear this being said in the news ALL the time and no one makes the distinction.

            Type 2 can be avoided: don't follow the recommended diet by the FDA. It's all about high carbs and sugars. Higher protein & less carbs is better. Just FYI.

              That wasn't the point I was making... and yes, I already know that. Type 2 can be avoided and reversed with diet and exercise...once you have type 1 you always have it. Juvenile diabetes (type 1) means you're insulin dependent and it is not the same as adult onset (type 2). If diabetes is going to be the topic of a discussion or point then which type should be specified. People are conditioned to think if they hear "diabetes" then it's a fat person or a fat kid that's being talked about and that they some how brought it on themselves...sure...fat adults brought it on themselves...kids who get it did NOT. They're pancreases stopped producing any insulin, permanently, through no fault of their own, or their parents.

                Thank You LetsShrug. Most people don't know the difference and it does get annoying to be made to feel like you are a diabetic because you ate too much candy. Aarg...Some people that take very close care of it still have complications through no fault of there own. Pancreas doesn't create insulin. Body needs insulin to carry nutrients to each cell. The balance is the fun in life, if you are a Type 1.

              Personal experience from a Type I... you are absolutely right, Uncommon. Complex carbs and protein is perfect for all body types, bodybuilders diet also. Requires less insulin and builds muscle.. and muscle burns calories, so exercise and diet are important for health. Oh, and I am NOT a serf. I was dealt a hand and have played it well. Took care of myself and never used it as an excuse for failure. Took beef and pork insulin as a child and was glad the medicine was available to give me life so I could make choices with reason to accomplish the opportunities in life I searched for... just my 2 cents !!!

                Diabetes sucks. In any case, I recommend do not follow FDA. I'm sure they used to be good, back when the communists didn't take it over. Nowadays, a new psychotropic "medicine" is released onto the market, only after a couple of years, get recalled due to some horrific side-effects. The FDA has ZERO credibility with me.

                  I don't trust any government agency. I think they have an agenda that is at least as dangerous or more evil than the muslim faith. I know from experience what works. Complex carbs and protein. Anyway, the nutrisweet is a big danger... from experience. Turns into formaldehyde at 86 degrees. Took a while to figure out what was happening, had to find it on my own. The FDA is poisoning us, not protecting us. I know this from personal experience also.

                  Do you have another source to obtain insulin? Last I heard, insulin is not a psychotropic drug. Believe me, having a child dependent on medicine is not fun..especially with obcare looming. You have NO idea.

    Unfortunately this is so very true. If you haven't seen the movie 'Obama 2016' yet you should. He was raised and trained to be a communist and he thinks U.S. is a colonial national and he's anti-colonialism so he wants to bring us down. Cloward-Piven is the way he is employing.
