Waylon Jenning's "Mamas Don`t Let Your Babies Grow up to be Cowboys"

Lately I've been having a yearning to ditch the music I've been listening to and go back to some way old days in my youth. This song and artist epitomizes that idea. Love me some Waylon. Here's an oldie, and an awesome classic...not unlike today's garbage (my opinion) of what they call 'country'. Enjoy.

Jack is looking at the river as he continues. Tatt watches him intently as he banters on; she is assessing him
JACK: And here’s something. Ever hear of ‘accountant’ or ‘social worker’ or ‘car salesman” music? The profession of ‘cowboy’ is the only one I know of that has its own music, art work, sculpture, and cowboy poetry. And nobody goes out to buy social worker boots, it’s cowboy boots.
TATT: You listen to country-western music?
JACK: Well, there’s a difference between country and western music.
TATT: Really? I thought it was all the same, one kind of music.
JACK: Nah. Country music is about some guy sitting in a smoky bar, whining about losing his wife or dog or girlfriend ... or all three. Western music is different.
TATT: How?
JACK: Subject matter. It’s stories about blizzards and roundups and gunfights and tumbleweeds and water and trains and watching an eagle on the wind.
TATT: Interesting. I've listened to the music but never made the distinction.
JACK: I have a couple tapes of the SAWMILL CREEK BAND from Wyoming, that I'll lend you. Great dancing tunes.
TATT: Dancing? Dancing? Do you dance?
JACK: Lot of people think cowboys only rope and ride and spit and cuss, but in Wyoming, Saturday nights in the BAR, cowboy dancing.
